I've seen her a few times around town (Vancouver, Canada) in the last month (June-July 2003).
I saw her in Kerrisdale a few weeks ago. While I was picking up my sister from her yoga class, who walked past my car? None other than Sarah herself. She was wearing a blue Juicy (big letters on her behind) sweatsuit and white cap. She was carrying a bag and a bottle of water. I got out of my car just to get a closer look. She stopped for a few minutes to talk to a teenage girl (who must be a fan) with her mom. She laughed and shook her hand. Sarah then proceeded to a waiting white SUV parked 3 cars behind mine.
The other time was early last month. I watched them filming Scooby Doo at the Vancouver Art Gallery. My friends and I were on our way home when we saw the set. We stopped and found out that it was for Scooby. Funny because we kept asking which of the cast was there and the assistants kept saying none of them. Only the standins where there that night apparently. We hung around and we saw Alicia Sylverstone then Sarah. My friend approached one of the assitants and told him that he lied. The assistant said that he wasn't aware the the stars had arrived. Anyway, we moved to an area where a tent was put up about 10 feet from us. We saw staff move directors' chairs inside so we figured that that's where the stars would sit and rest. The area was close to where the service cars were parked. It was already around 3 am and we were going to head home when we saw Sarah and a guy get dropped off by an SUV behind us. We knew we were in the right spot. About half an hour later, Alicia went inside the tent. She's pretty. Then Sarah came with the same guy who I'm assuming is her bodyguard and another lady. She didn't look at us. Then she was called back to the set. We waited a bit more then we realized that Sarah had left already. We were told that she was picked up at the other side of the Gallery. So we just went home.
The last time was a few days ago. She was standing outside of a bookstore on Robson. She was alone and probably waiting for her ride. She didn't have a hat or sunglasses on so anyone who knew her would've recognized her immediately. By the time my sister and I were able to turn the car around to pass by her again, she was already gone.
That's all for now. I'm not stalking her in case some are thinking that. I'm just lucky I guess. I find it ironic that I was never really a big fan but now that I've seen her in person, she has captured me.
