(Sitges Film Festival in Barcelona, Spain - Dec. 7, 2004)

On the 7th (December), the day of the premiere of The Grudge we went to Sitges really early in the morning to try and see her, and we found out that Sarah would arrive to Barcelona around lunch time, and that she was not staying in Sitges, she was staying in a hotel of Barcelona. So we decided to go to the airport and try and see her. We had time to have lunch before her plane landed and then we were waiting for her at the arrivals gate, then we saw her peiple (bodyguard, hairdresser, assistant) get out, but she was not with them. We followed them up to the cars and we saw that Sarah was already in one of the cars. But by then I was already all excited.

So we went back to Sitges and after awhile we were able to attent the photocall with Sarah, because we had press acreditations (don’t ask me how!). Sarah was beautiful, I have some pics of that. Then she went to a private room to be interviewed and we didn’t get to see her again until the time of the premiere, but then, again thanks to the press acreditations we were able to get there the first one and we were able to take position in the first row, just five feet away from Sarah. She came into the auditorium a little after that and she said some words in Spanish and said she hoped we would like the movie. Then she left and we followed her outside and tried to get a pic, but she just said "Thank you, Bye!" and got in the car. Then later on we went to her hotel but obviously Sarah was already in her room. So we decided to go back to the hotel the next day. We got there at 10:30 and had to wait for like an hour. But it was worth it. When Sarah came out she stopped when she saw us and thanked us for being there. She signed my friend's picture and the she asked if we wanted a picture, and told us she was in a hurry. So of course we said yes. We took the pic and she said thanks again and then left. She was so nice to us, I will never forget that day. And Sarah is even more gorgeous in person than in tv/cinema.
