(THE GRUDGE Paris Premiere - Dec. 13, 2004)

We arrived at the cinema at about 3pm and found out there wasn’t going to be a red carpet, the theatre manager kindly informed us that the only time we would see Sarah was in the screening room. So we then asked what time they would be letting people in the room and they told us to come back at 6pm.

We went back at 6pm and saw other fans waiting so we went inside the cinema and waited outside the screening room entrance, we were 1st in line.

After waiting for about an hour they started letting people into the screening room, as we were the first in we got the best pick of seats so of course we choose them right in the front row (they were really good seats), at about 7:30pm the cinema manager came in to inform us of the rules (No Autographs, No leaving the screening room or we would be told to leave the cinema and the funniest one of them all No Pictures). After he said his little speech two other guys came in with 'Grudge' promotional t-shirts and started throwing them to people (Jo got one).

At about 8pm a woman came in and gave a little speech about Sam Raimi she then went on to talk about Buffy, she finished off by Introducing Sarah.

Sarah came in from our right to people applauding and cheering, as she walked by us we waved at her and she smiled and waved right back at us. (Did we mention we had really good seats we were arms length away from her when she walked past lol)

She went to the front of the stage and introduced the movie (the quote is not 100% accurate)

"I apologize but my French isn’t so good, I just wanted to thank you for being so kind and welcoming to me, Paris is a really beautiful city and I have enjoyed my time here, I hope you enjoy the movie as much as we enjoyed doing it, merci beaucoup".

Sarah then walked off to more applause and cheer, she was stopped in front of us to have her picture taken she smiled at us again and waved then left the way she came in.
