During her two years on the show, Kendall locked her sister in a crypt, committed purgery, convinced her mother to stab her husband, and almost ruined Erica's career, among other things. Her incredible ability to convince the audience that she was the most evil person in Pine Valley got her two Emmy nominations and an Emmy win in 1995.

Her character was often referred to as a "younger version of Erica Kane," which is probably why she probably did so well on All My Children.
