This is just a quick note to say that Sarah will be making THE GRUDGE promo stops in Sitges, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and Dubai in December. We will post more info as soon as details (dates, times and locations) have been confirmed and finalized.

Attention Italian fans! Sarah is headed your way this November. She is scheduled to attend the Torino Film Festival in Italy from Nov. 19-22. She's also scheduled to attend the MTV Europe Awards on Nov. 18th. There'll be some press in Rome as well.

Attention Spanish fans! Sarah is making an appearance at the 2004 Sitges Film Festival in December.

Sarah will be making more press stops throughout Europe in December. We'll post the details as soon as they are confirmed. So check back here again.

Two new confirmed international release dates for THE GRUDGE are France on December 29th and Benelux on Jan. 6, 2005.

THE GRUDGE IS STILL N. AMERICA'S NO.1 MOVIE!

THE GRUDGE topped this weekend's box office for a second time in a row, taking in a cool $22 million according to early estimates. The movie has raked in a whopping $71 million in only 10 days. THE GRUDGE surprised the industry again as it wasn't expected to "hold the top spot for a second consecutive weekend". The Hollywood Reporter.

VRC ALERT! Sarah is set to host Glamour magazine's Women Of The Year Awards at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on November 8th. This year's event is the first time that the ceremony will be broadcast in syndication. Expect it to air starting November 13th.

Fans outside of N. America should check here for the release dates of THE GRUDGE in your countries. The movie opens this Friday, November 5th, in the UK.

THE GRUDGE continues to do well in the box office earning a respectable $55 million in its first week, exceeding industry expectations. Not bad for a movie that, reportedly, had a budget of only $10 million.

The official tally from the first four days of box office returns has THE GRUDGE currently at $41,897,060 million ($39,128,715 from the weekend plus $2,768,345 from Monday). Because of its opening weekend success, a sequel is reportedly already in the works. This isn't suprising but whether Sarah is a part of this sequel or not is another story.

THE GRUDGE TOPS THIS WEEKEND'S BOX OFFICE!

The movie opened with an impressive estimated $40 million making it the current no. 1 movie in N. America. It seems that even Sony was suprised about the movie's weekend success. Rory Bruer (Sony's head of distribution) told Variety.com, "I wish I could say I had any inclination that we were going to hit the ball so far out of the park". Our CONGRATULATIONS to everyone involved in THE GRUDGE!

I was fortunate to have been able to watch THE GRUDGE at the premiere last Tuesday. For someone who isn't a fan of remakes and horror movies, I can honestly say that this movie surpassed my expectations. Even though I was familiar with the original and knew what to expect, the movie still managed to scare the daylights out of me. But hearing and seeing the audience reaction was even better. People screamed and jumped out of their seats. The girl in front of me had her face buried in her boyfriend's arm for most of the movie. I don't know how much of it she actually saw. Of course, you don't have to take my word for it. So go watch the movie and see for yourself. ~JPM

Back in June (June 25th update), Titan magazines asked the fans to tell them who they think are the sexiest Buffy and Angel characters of all time and why. Well, the results are in. The latest official US Buffy magazine has a special supplement that lists the Top Ten Sexiest Women of Buffy. Did Buffy/SMG make it? Did your comment make it in print? Find out by picking up a copy of the Oct/Nov issue available on September 28th. This issue also features interviews with Nicholas Brendon and Juliet Landau. Several entertainment sites reported on the weekend that Sarah has apparently signed on to do Sabrina, The Teenage Witch movie in 2006. We have confirmed that this is NOT true. It was interesting to see, though, how quickly something spreads on the internet.

And the much awaited answer to The Grudge rating question is...PG-13.

According to UIP, The Grudge UK release has been re-scheduled for February 25, 2005. This info has not been confirmed.

We've received several e-mails from fans planning to go to Redbook's Mothers and Shakers awards (see Aug. 28th update) to show their support. Please note that Sarah is not confirmed to attend this event as of yet. It is our understanding that her schedule is very hectic especially with publicity commitments for The Grudge. If she's unable to attend she plans to do something special for the event.

Attention Spanish fans! The Grudge is on the list of films to be shown at an annual Spanish Film Festival called FESTIVAL DE CINE DE SITGES. The event will be held in December 2004 in Sitges, a small village near Barcelona, Spain. We will post details as they come in.

Fox has announced the upcoming release of Buffy: The Complete DVD Collection in the UK. The set is scheduled to be available in November.
